Praise: a healing power

My 13 year old kid had a stomack ache. He had to go to school as he should have some very important lessons. Just to have something to talk about I asked him what Schwarzkopf 's  'Got2b'  (hairstyle product) meant in danish, and he replied with the correct answer (we are from denmark).

I praised him for his great english abilities. After some minutes he said that he thought that praise had healing powers. He could feel that the moment I praised him, some of the stomack ache dissappeared and didn't feel as bad as it had done before.

We talked a bit about it, and reached the conclution that not any prise would do. The best teacher would be one that is able to honestly find one or two things that is praiseable with a person and then give the person the praise for that. Giving dishonest praise will not do the trick.

So perhaps we can conclude:

If your child is sick, find something that you truely, honestly can praise him for, and do that. This will be honest and will be helping him very much!

We of course felt a very close relationship after this conversation, and I came to think of What Napoleon Hill talks about when he refers to a mastermind: two persons coordinated in spirit.

Napoleon Hill states in his book: 'Think and Grow Rich': The human mind is a form of energy, a part of it being spiritual in nature. When the minds of two people are coordinated in a spirit of harmony, the spiritual units of energy of each mind form an affinity, which constitutes the 'psychic' phase of the mastermind.

Using the above will help make a master mind with your kids and using the principle will help me get rich, or what do you think ?
